Undergraduate students completed the SPIRE Summer Research Program 2016. Students engaged in research projects mentored by SPIRE scholars at UNC Chapel Hill and participated in weekly professional development sessions, a journal club, a GRE preparation course, and social activities in collaboration with other summer research programs on campus. Students presented posters about their research at a final Research Symposium as part of The Graduate School’s Summer Undergraduate Pipeline initiative on July 27th, 2016.
