Additional Opportunities

The SPIRE Program affords scholars the option of participating in a number of additional opportunities:

• Mentor undergraduate students on research projects
• Serve on committees and advise students at our partner institutions
• Engage in professional development opportunities at UNC Chapel Hill
• Help to influence policies for postdoctoral development and the postgraduate experience
• Serve on UNC's Office of Postdoctoral Affair's advisory board
