SPIRE hosted four previous scholars on Friday April 6, 2018 to discuss strategies and insights into mentoring and teaching URM and diverse students. The panel provided current scholars perspectives about the undergraduate culture at their current institutions, expectations about how to effectively navigate challenges as they arise in the classroom, and how to best support students’ success in STEM.
