SPIRE Community

The SPIRE Program is made up of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of scientists, educators, faculty, and postdoctoral scholars.

SPIRE collaborates with four of North Carolina’s historically minority universities (MSIs) to provide scholars with a mentored teaching and academic experience. These partners are committed to ensuring the equity of access to knowledge and opportunity in order to increase the number and diversity of students pursuing and attaining careers in the sciences.
